Goodie AI shows up near the top of a lot of 2026 "best GEO tools" roundups, and it is built for a different buyer than most of the tools we compare on this blog. Before you book a demo, here is what it actually includes, what it costs, and when a leaner tool gets you a straighter answer.
What does Goodie AI actually do?
Goodie AI is an Answer Engine Optimization platform built around nine capabilities, from prompt research and visibility monitoring to a content studio and an agentic commerce suite for AI shopping experiences. It tracks brand mentions across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude, then recommends and helps generate fixes.
According to Goodie's own product pages, the full list runs prompt research, visibility monitoring, optimization actions, a content studio, an agentic commerce suite, an agent experience suite that checks how AI crawlers interact with a site, analytics and revenue attribution, a "Goodie MCP" integration layer, and a "Brand Command" feature that watches for factual accuracy in AI answers. The company lists client work with Unilever, SteelSeries, and Rathbones, and it serves enterprise, travel, agency, fintech, SaaS, retail, healthcare, media, and pharma accounts, per Goodie's platform page. This is enterprise martech, built for a team that already treats AI visibility as a governance and revenue question, not a first tool for someone checking whether their site shows up at all.
What does Goodie AI cost?
Goodie starts at $399 per user, per month, with a single published plan tier and no free trial, according to its Capterra listing. That listing counts 42 total features and shows a 0.0 rating from zero reviews as of this writing, so there is not yet an independent track record to check against the marketing copy.
Search demand for general AI topics grew 3.6 times between May 2023 and May 2026, and interest in the term GEO now runs roughly twice as high as AEO, based on 48 months of Google Keyword Planner data from Rankability's 2026 State of AI Search report. That's real growth, but it's still a small market next to established search terms, and it explains why so few GEO tools, Goodie included, have much of a user review history yet.
Where does Goodie stop short?
Goodie is a monitoring and recommendation platform, not a repair tool. It tells you what AI engines say about your brand and suggests what to change, but someone still has to make those changes on the actual site, whether that is your own team, an agency, or a developer you hire for the job.
That breadth costs you time too. Nine product areas and 42 listed features take real effort to learn and configure. Goodie's own client list, spanning enterprise, travel, fintech, and pharma, points to a platform priced for a dedicated marketing function. A founder who wants an answer this afternoon isn't really who it's built for. And at $399 per seat per month with no trial, you're committing budget before you even know if the actual problem is something far cheaper to fix, like a blocked crawler or a missing schema tag.
Is Goodie AI worth it for a small business?
Usually not as a first purchase. A single-location business, a small agency, or a two-person
e-commerce shop does not need agentic commerce tracking or multi-brand sentiment analysis, and $399 a
month is a real budget line before you have even confirmed that AI crawlers can read your site. The
cheaper, faster move is to check the fundamentals first: does your robots.txt block
GPTBot or ClaudeBot, does your structured data correctly identify what kind of business you are, and
is your content written as direct answers a chatbot could quote.
What's a good alternative to Goodie AI?
It depends where you actually are:
- If you're an enterprise brand tracking sentiment across dozens of prompts, in multiple markets, with a marketing team that owns the follow-through, Goodie's breadth and its Brand Command accuracy checks may be worth the price and the learning curve.
- If you want to know exactly what's broken on your site right now and get it fixed without a sales call or a per-seat price, a fix-first audit tool is the more direct route. GeoRoar runs a free 100-point audit across crawler access, structured data, answerability, entity clarity, trust, and off-site presence, then generates the actual fixes for a one-time $99. Want someone to implement them for you? That's $999. Want your score watched after that? Monitor runs $19 a month, a fraction of a single Goodie seat.
How do I find out where my site actually stands?
Skip the demo request. Run a free GeoRoar audit and you'll get a score out of 100 against the same kinds of signals a platform like Goodie tracks, in about 30 seconds, with no account and no sales call. If the fixes turn out to be more than you want to handle yourself, that's what the Fix Pack and Done-for-you plan are for.
