AI search is the new SEO

Get cited by the models that matter.

AI search engines don't crawl like Google — they synthesize. GeoRoar makes sure your site is the source ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini quote, not your competitor.

Whether you're a local shop, an online store, a nonprofit, or a software company — most AI-visibility tools just track your score. GeoRoar generates the actual fixes, ready to paste.

Free · ~30 seconds · no signup. Your score and category grades show instantly. The full check-by-check report is emailed on request.

Simulated AI responseExample · not live data
When someone asks an AI engine to recommend a business like yours, it pulls an answer from a few sources and names them. Sites missing structured entity clarity and an llms.txt file are rarely the ones it cites — no matter how good the business actually is.
Sources synthesized: competitor-a.com, competitor-b.com — your domain not cited.

Why does AI visibility matter now?

Your customers now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI for recommendations — whether they're after the best CRM, a dentist nearby, or a poke bowl by the beach. Those engines don't rank pages the way Google does; they synthesize an answer and cite a few sources. 28% of the pages ChatGPT cites most have zero visibility in Google's top results — so a strong SEO program no longer guarantees you exist where a growing share of decisions start.

Most businesses have done nothing about it yet, because until now the advice was vague and the tools only told you that you had a problem. The gap is your opening.

How does GeoRoar work?

GeoRoar detects your business type — local shop, service provider, e-commerce, media, nonprofit, or software — and tailors every fix to it. A grocery store gets grocery-store schema, not a template. Same three steps for everyone:

1. Audit

We fetch your public pages and score them against a 100-point rubric across six categories: machine access, structured data, answerability, entity clarity, trust signals, and off-site corroboration.

2. Grade

You get a letter grade, the exact checks you passed and failed, and a fix list ranked by points recoverable — free, on screen, no email wall.

3. Fix

The Fix Pack generates your corrections: robots.txt that welcomes AI crawlers, a complete llms.txt, JSON-LD schema, and rewritten copy — ready to paste.

How the audit actually works

No cached scores, no opaque ranking model, no AI guessing. A live fetch of your public pages, scored against a fixed 100-point rubric.

What it does

Performs a fresh server-side fetch of your homepage and supporting files. Parses robots.txt for AI-specific directives (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, CCBot), checks for llms.txt, extracts every JSON-LD block, tests whether your content survives without JavaScript, and scans your copy for the structures AI engines quote.

How it mirrors real AI crawlers

The checks model how answer engines actually ingest pages: a single fetch, raw HTML, honoring your robots rules. If your content isn't readable in that one pass — the same pass ChatGPT or Perplexity gets — the citation doesn't happen, and the audit tells you so.

What it does not do

It doesn't track keyword rankings, poll AI engines with your prompts, judge your product, or keep a leaderboard. It doesn't guarantee citations — nobody honestly can. And where a check needs human judgment, it scores conservatively and says so instead of inventing a number.

Why not just ask ChatGPT to audit your site?

Try it — we mean that. But know what you're getting. Chat assistants fetch your pages shallowly or not at all, then describe what a typical site's robots.txt and schema look like. Ask twice and the "audit" changes, because there's no rubric underneath — just conversation. It reads like an audit and performs like a horoscope.

The transparency test: ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity to audit your site first. Save the answer. Then run the free GeoRoar audit and put them side by side — including opening your own robots.txt to see which one described the real file. If the chat audit catches everything ours does, don't pay us. We're comfortable with that bet.

Frequently asked questions

What is GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)?

GEO is the practice of making your site retrievable and citable by AI engines. Where SEO optimizes for ranking in a list of links, GEO optimizes for being quoted in an answer.

How is GeoRoar different from monitoring tools like Profound or Otterly?

Most tools only track your AI visibility and charge monthly just to watch. GeoRoar actually fixes it — and our optional Monitor plan ($19/mo) keeps re-auditing, alerting, and refreshing your fixes over time. So you get tracking and repair for less than most tools charge for tracking alone. Start with the free audit; fix once for $49 or stay cited with Monitor. Full breakdown: GeoRoar vs Profound, Peec & Otterly.

Do you store my website data?

We store your domain, your score, and the timestamp. If you request the full report, we also store the email you give us — and we only send you marketing if you tick the optional box saying we may. Fetched pages are discarded after scoring. We never store page content or anything about your visitors.

Do you have any free GEO tools?

Yes — the free llms.txt generator builds a complete llms.txt file from your site's real content in seconds, no signup. The full audit above is also free.

Will the fixes work for my stack?

The generated files are plain web standards — robots.txt, llms.txt, JSON-LD — and work on any platform: Webflow, WordPress, Framer, Next.js, or hand-written HTML.
