If your name, brokerage, and phone number are slightly different on every site, an AI engine cannot be sure the Jane Smith on Zillow is the Jane Smith on your website. Uncertainty means you do not get named.
What entity consistency means
AI engines assemble a picture of you from many sources. They match on your name, address, phone, and the links between your profiles. When those details line up everywhere, the engine builds one confident profile. When they conflict, "Jane Smith Realtor" here, "Jane A. Smith, Keller Williams" there, a different phone number on a third site, the engine hedges, and a hedge usually means silence.
The checklist
- Name: use one consistent professional name everywhere, including the same middle initial or none.
- Brokerage: list the same brokerage name and format across your site, Zillow, Realtor.com, and Google Business Profile.
- Phone and address: identical formatting, and the same number buyers actually reach you on.
- Links: point your website's schema
sameAsat your real profiles, and where possible link those profiles back to your site.
